Someone once told a story about an old wise man who was visiting a village for the first time. The news of this old wise man had so spread that everyone was full of expectation to see and hear this wise man speak. Among those expecting to see this wise man was a young boy. This boy decided to play pranks on the wise man. He caught a butterfly and placed it on his palm. His plan was to ask the old wise man about the state of the butterfly if it was alive or dead. His plan was that if the old man answered “ alive” then he would squeeze the poor creature to death before opening his finger thereby embarrassing the wise man. As soon as the old wise man arrived the village, the boy quickly came to him and asked his question. “Old man, I have a little butterfly in my hand. Now tell if the butterfly is dead or alive?” The old man looked at his face, eye ball to eye ball and said to him, “young man, dead or alive, the answer is in your hand”. To stop worrying and be happy is a deliberate decision you have to make irrespective of your present circumstances.
Most people have a false impression that happy people have no problem and that is the reason they are happy. This is not true ‘the rich also cry’. As big as the elephant is, mosquito is it’s problem. Everybody everywhere is going through something. Don’t let anybody makes you feel as if you have a special problem. Everyone has his or her own challenges. Some of the happiest people around you have experienced sorrows and disappointments. Be assured weeping may endure for a night joy comes in the morning. Your joy is coming.
